Nominations 2008

The Nominating Team, chaired by Diane Haney, is seeking candidates for the following offices, to be elected at the Spring 2009 NYS Convention.

• Membership Vice President
• Legal Advocacy Fund Vice President
• Secretary/Bylaws
• Treasurer

There is much information available for those who might be interested.

• Board responsibilities and specific personal criteria are available for each position.
• You can read the job descriptions for all the elected positions in New York State.
• Position descriptions for all Association, state and branch officers are available on the Association website.
• The deadline for nomination information to be submitted is October 15, 2007.
• The AAUW-NYS bylaws include information on job responsibilities.
• General job descriptions for both state and branch board members.

Nominating forms, with submission instructions, are available here. The Word format may be filled out online, then submitted. The PDF format is to be printed out, filled out via typing or printing, and then submitted via regular mail.
