Candidate for Secretary – ELECTED!
Susan Cicchetti is a member of Staten Island Branch and has held the position of Program Vice President.
Experience – Susan’s professional career as a Special Education Pre-K teacher helped her to develop her ability to organize, teach information using creative techniques as well as the ability to take direction and work closely with others.
Community Service – Susan served on her Church Vestry in the position of Outreach Coordinator for 5 years and has also participated in community activities such as providing meals to the homeless, planting bulbs and flowers in the city.
Membership – Susan was a member of the Officers’ Wives’ Club while her husband served in the Army.
Secretary Skills – Susan reports that she can schedule time to attend meetings, has an excellent command of the English language and the ability to listen and transcribe information.
Candidate for Treasurer – ELECTED!
Latasha P. Elder has been a member of the Greater Rochester Area Branch for two years.
Experience – Latasha reports that she was treasurer of the New Day Children’s Center in Watertown, New York for several years.
Community Service – She has been a Girl Scout Troop Leader for over 11 years.
Membership – Latasha is a member of the Business Task Force for ERASE (Eliminating Racism and Seeking Equity).
Treasurer Skills – Knowledge of reconciling accounts, dealing with boards, and reviewing financials.
